How do I check the water temperature?

We recommend using a pool thermometer to check the water temperature. NOTE: Always stir the water using a paddle before checking the temperature, as different parts of the tub may not be the same temperature

The water near the stove warms first, so stirring mixes it to an even temperature. Most people find 38 to 40°C a comfortable soaking temperature.
