Our founder’s journey
Born into a “tubbing culture” in Northern Europe, Royal Tubs’ founder Andrew grew up immersed in the relaxing ambience of woodsmoke and warm water. When he moved to the UK, he couldn’t wait to bring a traditional wood fired hot tub into his own garden.
From the moment he ordered, everything went wrong. Broken promises, delays that ran into weeks and then months, and extra costs hidden in every detail. When the tub finally arrived, it was poorly made and full of defects, and it lasted just 18 months.
Andrew set out to do wood fired hot tubs properly, so nobody else would go through the same experience. Royal Tubs was born.
More than just hot tubs
It’s not enough for us to simply sell hot tubs. We want every customer to experience a wooden tub as it’s meant to be: a retreat that soothes the body and recharges the mind.
Using fine timber and traditional construction methods, our tubs are built to look incredible and stand the test of time. More than that, they bring you closer to friends and family and help you feel more at ease. Judging by our reviews, they’re making our customers very happy.

Sustainably sourced timber
We only use timber from suppliers we trust, so we can be confident every board is sustainably sourced.
Stainless steel stoves
We refuse to sell cheaper, short-lived aluminium stoves. Our stoves are stainless steel, built to our own specification.
