Nothing in this policy limits or excludes your non-waivable statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
If your hot tub develops a manufacturing fault, is delivered with damage, or does not match the agreed contract specifications:
- Initial 30 Days (Short-Term Right to Reject): If goods are faulty on delivery or breach statutory terms, you are entitled to reject the goods for a full refund, or request a repair or replacement. Wooden SPA Solutions t/a Royal Tubs reserves the right to inspect the goods (either via detailed photographic/video evidence or an in-person assessment) to verify the nature and origin of the reported defect before issuing a refund or collecting the goods.
- After 30 Days (Up to 6 Months): If a defect arises after 30 days, Wooden SPA Solutions t/a Royal Tubs is entitled to an opportunity to repair or replace the affected component or the unit within a reasonable time and without significant inconvenience to you. If a repair or replacement is impossible or unsuccessful, you may then claim an appropriate price reduction or exercise your final right of rejection (subject to a deduction for use where permitted by law).
- Exclusions from Liability: Statutory remedies do not cover defects, faults, or damage arising from:
- Normal wear and tear or natural timber movement (including minor surface cracking, drying splits, resin bleed, or colour weathering inherent to natural wood).
- Incorrect ground preparation, non-level foundations, or poor drainage.
- Improper offloading, handling, or installation carried out by third-party contractors or by the customer.
